About me

Hello, I’m Sarah Donoghue, a mum to two gorgeous children that I love but can also drive me crazy. At time of writing (June 2020) they are 3 1/2 years and 8 months old. I’m currently on maternity leave but plan to go back to my PhD in Geoscience soon.

I’ve started this blog to give other parents and care givers ideas for how to entertain and educate their children using easily available/recycled materials. This was brought about by the Coronavirus lockdown when I realised I had to keep a 3 year old toddler busy all day at home and didn’t have lots of money to spend on materials.

I am not a teacher or an artist I just enjoy doing activities with my children, and if they learn something then even better. All my activities are designed to be simple and not require too much equipment. Even better a lot of the materials have been recycled. If you have any suggestions then please let me know.
