3D flower picture πŸ’

A quick and simple craft that your toddler can spend as little or much time on as they wish. It also builds lots of important skills: colouring, cutting and sticking.

What you’ll need:

  • Piece of card
  • Piece of paper
  • Pens, scissors and sellotape
  • Sequins for decorating (optional)

What to do:

  1. Draw a simple outline of flowers on the piece of card (best if adult does this)
  2. Get the toddler to colour in the flowers and decorate with sequins (optional)
  3. Cut the flowers out
  4. Use double sided tape to stick the centre of each flower to a piece of paper (can build up the tape to give more of a 3D effect)

Hints and tips

– This is a great activity for building a toddlers confidence with colouring because if they slightly go over the edge it doesn’t matter as the flower will be cut out

– It’s also good cutting practise, I got my daughter to roughly cut out the flowers then I cut them out more exactly
