This activity is more aimed at babies and younger toddlers but children of all ages can have fun moving the flowers around the bag. We made 2 bags, one with water and one with body lotion.
What you’ll need:
- Flowers and leafs
- Zip lock bags
- Water or body lotion (or something similar)
What to do:
- Fill the bag about a third of the way full with water or body lotion
- Add the flowers and/or leaves
- Press out the air and seal securely (I added duck tape along the top to make sure there would be no leakages)
Hints and tips
– You could add an extra bag as ours got a hole after a day of play
– Using body lotion slightly obscures the plants but has a different feel to the water
– If you don’t have an extra pair of hands you can fold over the top of the bag to make it stand up, so that you can easily fill the bag
