My daughter and I loved this activity because it’s really easy to do, the child gets to explore outside, and learns about nature and colours. Plus you can make some pretty pictures with what you find.
What you’ll need:
- An empty egg box
- Pens/paints
What to do:
- Colour/paint each compartment inside of the egg box a different colour
- Go on a walk and find plants/leafs/flowers of each colour to fill every section
- Once home make a rainbow or a picture with what you’ve found

Hints and tips:
– Painting the egg box gives more vibrant colours but is messier and you have to wait for it to dry
– Press the flowers and leafs once done to make other crafts e.g. Nature crown
