Yoghurt painting/rainbows 🌈

Food paint is a fun activity to do with your toddler and you can enjoy eating or freezing the leftovers.

What you’ll need:

  • Yoghurt (we used Greek yoghurt)
  • Food colouring
  • Paint brushes
  • Small dishes
  • Greaseproof paper or similar

What to do:

  1. Add a teaspoon of yoghurt to each small bowl
  2. Add a few drops of food colouring to each bowl and mix well. More food colouring will give brighter colours.
  3. Use paint brushes to make edible pictures.

Hints and tips:

– You could make more yoghurt if you want more to eat afterwards.

– You could also paint on toast or a cake for extra foodie fun.

– We had lots of fun combining different primary colours to learn how the different colours of the rainbow are made.
