Use recycled and natural materials to make fairy houses, who knows fairyβs may even stay in these houses and leave behind gifts.

What youβll need:
- An empty porridge pot (yoghurt pots or the bottom of drinks bottles would also work)
- Brown packing paper
- Leafs, twigs and flowers
- PVA glue and sellotape
- Scissors
What to do:
- Cut a door hole of the front of the pot with a sharp knife (obviously be very careful at this point). We stuck the door back on with tape but the houses could also be doorless.
- Trim brown packaging paper to the width of you pot, put PVA glue round your pot and stick the paper to it. Cut to release the door.
- Trace round the top of your pot on the brown packing paper, cut out and stick to lid.
- Decorate your fairy house with twigs, leafs, flowers, lollipop sticks and other bits from the garden or your recycling.

Hints and tips:
– You could put a battery powered candle inside the house to light it up (please donβt put real candies inside or donβt blame me if you do and it all goes wrong!)
– Twigs and leafs arenβt that easy to stick with PVA glue, you could try using stronger glue or sellotape, we put masking tape over the ends of the twigs then glued a leaf above it to hid it. Alternatively if you are prepared you could press the leafs and flowers.
