A great way to use empty toilet rolls and make a fun friend. My daughter was convinced zebras are white and brown, so we made her a white and brown one and me a black and white one.

What youβll need:
- 2 empty toilet rolls
- Black and white paint and brushes
- 2 lollipop sticks (preferably the ones with the rounded ends)
- Black ribbon
- A pipe cleaner
- White paper
- Goggley eyes
- Sellotape, scissors, PVA glue.
What to do:
- Paint the 2 toilet rolls white, leave to dry
- Once dry add some black stripes, leave to dry
- Whilst they are drying paint the 2 lollipop sticks black and leave to dry
- You can also draw 2 ears on white paper, leave a tab at the end. Cut the ears out and fold back the tab.
- Cut the ribbons and tie together to make a tail.
- Once the toilet rolls are dry cut one in half to be the head, and make a small hole in the middle at the bottom to attach to the body.
- With the other body toilet roll make 4 slits in the bottom for the legs. Make another small hole near the front at the top to attach the head.
- Cut the lollipop sticks in half and push through the slits. You could add some hot glue to hold in place.
- Attach the half toilet roll head by pushing the pipe cleaner through the holes, twisting the top end and looping the bottom end over the front of the toilet roll.
- Stick on the ears and googley eyes with glue.
- Add a mane by cutting the ribbon into shirt pieces, sticking to sellotape then sticking to the inside of the head toilet roll.
- Stick on the tail using sellotape on the inside of the body toilet roll.

Hints and tips:
– Make sure the paint is completely dry before trying to stick or make holes or it wonβt work so well.
– You could add a small circular piece of card painted black and white at the front and back of the zebras to make so that you canβt see inside them.
